Eleanor Nash is heading to the Bahamas for a book convention. She is with her boyfriend/author Oliver, her sister Harper, and her editor Vicki. When she gets there, she also learns that her ex Conner, is there, as well as her stalker, Cathy, her ex-friend, Sandrine, Stefano, and Guy, all people she would live without seeing. When she gets to her room, she finds a dead body, a man named Brian, who had worked for the resort she is staying in. Then more bodies start stacking up, and there’s any number of suspects. She and Oliver, as well as Conner, start investigating, and she thinks maybe she was supposed to be one of the people killed. There’s any number of clues, and author Mack does another great job writing this novel, the third in the series. She has her signature humor, a great supporting cast, and Eleanor writing in the first-person as narrator of the novel. These books keep getting better and better.
