The Parker family has moved from Texas to a rich part of Southern California for a frest start. Heather is a determined mother to her two daughters. There’s a high-priced horse training stable a mile from where they live, and she signs her daughter Maple up, for a high price, to get lessons, even though Maple isn’t sure she wants to. Over time, Heather is spending most of her time at stables, and track, and even spends a lot of money to buy Maple a horse. There are already cliques there, and Maple falls in with the crowd, and starts to rebel. Along the way, we find out that a dead body has been found, and the police are interviewing people. The story takes place over a four-month span, and a lot happens. Shocking secrets are revealed, and everyone’s lives are changed.

You can pick up Girls And Their Horses in stores on Tuesday, June 6th from Berkley.
