Andy Weir has yet again written a spell-binding story set in space (he wrote The Martian). One man Ryland Grace is on a course in space to save the earth from a dimming sun. He awakes from a coma alone (his two fellow travelers have died) on a spaceship that’s in for a long duration and who may never be able to return to earth. He wasn’t suppose to wake up so early and he’s not sure where he is or what’s going on. He starts to remember in real time along with the reader and via flashbacks we learn how he got here. Other stars seem to be dying except one Tau Ceti and that’s where he is headed. But he may not be alone and soon many things happen that could prove to be deadly. There’s so much more to the story but they would be spoilers so all I can say is get the book and read along and see why I love a certain character in the book. Andy Weir crafts another tale full of twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat reading along. You will not want to put this down right to the very end!
