Book Review: ‘You Betrayed Me: A Novel’ By Lisa Jackson

James Cahill has been stringing two women along and it comes to a head. He’s always been a ladies man but this has taken him too far. After a fight with his current girlfriend Megan he ends up in the hospital and can’t remember what happened that night. And Megan has gone missing. And in his room is a woman named Sophia, who he’s been cheating with behind Megan’s back.

James releases himself and is the main person of interest in Megan’s disappearance. The police are on the case as is Megan’s sister Rebecca, who was with James until he broke up with her to be with Megan. A reporter is also on the case and soon she is found murdered as are a few other people with ties to James. As the investigation ramps up a shocking plot is revealed and we soon learns who is responsible for everything.

With well placed twists and turns, author Lisa Jackson has written another thrilling story with interesting characters and a great setting for this third novel in her Cahills series.
