Jewelann Jordan is married to Ken, a controlling man, and has a sixteen-year-old son named Eli, who has troubles. She’s not the least bit happy in her marriage, she is an out of control shopping addict (she has had other addictions before this one), and they are in debt living in her family home, in need of lots of repairs. It’s time for her 25th high school reunion, and she’s happy to know Christian will be there, he broke her heart 17 years ago, and she gets some revenge on him on this night. Then it’s back to her life, until Christian shows up and rents their guest cottage, and she’s afraid Ken will learn about what happened that night. Ken is acting weird himself, Christian keeps hitting on Jewelann, her son is getting close to Christian, which freaks out Jewelann, and a dead body is found in the backyard. It all leads to shocking reveals, one after the other, there’s so many in a row, you’ll need a scorecard, and leads to a shocking death. A solid thriller, that starts off a bit slow but kicks into gear, and with all the twists, turns into a good end of the year murder mystery.

You can pick up We Knew All Along in stores on Tuesday, December 6th from Crooked Lane.
