The small town of Pixie, California, is the setting for this third novel in the series. Felicity Jin works at Jin Bakery, known for their awesome pastries and magic fortune cookies. Right next door is Love Blooms, owned by her boyfriend, Kelvin. Mrs. Robson owns the B&B, right near both of their shops. She is expecting a group of four women for a reunion. She enlists both Felicity and Kelvin to provide the snacks and flowers for the women. When Ashlyn, the leader of the group, is found dead in her bathtub, Felicity and Kelvin start their own investigation as to what might have happened to her. With the help of her magical rabbit, Whiskers, they start to find secrets about the group and think they know who the killer is, and now they have to prove it. This is a fun, small-town murder mystery, with great characters, a bit of magic, a rabbit, and a solid, easy-to-read story. And the author even throws in recipes and tips at the end of the book!
