Book Review: ‘Surrender The Dead: A Novel’ By John Burley

It’s been 15 years since Erin Reece has been home to her childhood home in Montana. Now she has come back to her father being sick and in the hospital. Being back brings back memories of the 16 people that went missing during her childhood. And now two bodies have been found on the farm that her father owns. And then her father confesses to the two murders. But it’s not all cut and dry. We get flashbacks to Erin’s days growing up and we learn shocking secrets and just what really happened in the past.

A solid novel with twists and turns that keep the reader engaged and curious about what really happened.
