Sydney and Curtis have moved from New York to a villa in Spain to try and fix their marriage. He cheated on her, confesses, they have gone to therapy, and he hopes this will be a new start for them. The place needs a lot of work, and they are slowly doing it. They have lived here now for four months, and it’s just the two of them. Then two strangers show up, and their van has broken down. Bianca and Damien, from Australia, are on a driving tour, and their phones have died as well as the van. They ask to charge the phones, and Curtis drives them into town to see a mechanic. They’re told it will take up to ten days to get the part. Sydney, happy to see new people, invites them to stay, as long as they will help with work around the house. Things are okay at first, but then we learn who they are and why they are here, and it involves blackmail and murder. As the truths come out, it becomes a deadly game, and not everyone will survive. This is an intense thriller, where nothing is as it seems. Shocking secrets, betrayals, and death will keep you reading along. Author Robyn Harding has done it again.
