It’s 1957 in Ireland and on this snowy night Father Tom Lawless is found dead in a grisly way at the home of the Osbornes. Detective Inspector St. John Strafford arrives on the scene to start the investigation. He interviews everyone that was in the house and other potential suspects. He’s getting nowhere fast in his investigation but little things don’t add up in regards to the death and Father Tom’s relationships with the people around him. It leads to a shocking reveal and just who the murderer was.
A solid thriller with a good main character in Strafford with a few place twists and turns that add to the story. It also uses history well as the feelings of religion between the Catholics and the Protestants plays a part in the story.
You can pick up Snow in stores on Tuesday, October 6th from Hanover Square Press.
