Shyla Sinclair is a private detective, and she just wrapped a big case and made a lot of money on it. She’s shocked when she gets an invitation to meet with billionaire Saxton Braith at his mansion on the hill. He wants to hire her to find out about himself he can’t die, and she witnesses this when his driver puts an iron rod through his head. He has few memories of his past, and he wants her to investigate him and how he is immortal. One of the reasons he is hiring her is because he knows dirt on her, and he expects her to keep her mouth shut about how he can’t die. She finds out a lot of shocking information about him and how he came to be, and there’s a battle between him and other forces that are still alive, and it all leads to a shocking showdown on Galveston Island. This is an intense psychological horror thriller that starts off fast and never lets up. Filled with shocking twists, this is one not to be missed.
