The Russians are at it again. After having a pipeline blown up in Siberia, they decide to make a new one in the Arctic Ocean. They have sent icebreakers there to start the process and have a secret plan to control the area before the US and NATO try to intervene. President Jack Ryan is not having it, and Operation Arctic Fury is underway near Finland and Sweden. Katie Ryan, the daughter of the president, once again plays a big part in this novel. Jack Ryan will never back down from a fight, and just how far will he go? This is another solid novel in the series, with everything you would expect in one of these books. All the regulars are here fighting and figuring out what the US will do to stop the bad guy. Author Woodward has a firm command of this series, and fans will enjoy this one.
