Rebecca lives in Toronto, and a year after her grandmother died, she returns to Bramley Hollow to fix up the diner left to her, per orders of the town, or she will lose it. Trying to find someone to fix it is easy; she can call Cort Adams, a man she has always loved and kissed a year ago, and things got awkward. With no one else to help, she hires Cord, and they agree to put their past behind them. They start spending time together alone, and with his son, Pip, who is eight. They soon have hot sex, and things are going well, until it dawns on them that Rebecca has no plans to stay, and they end things. When Rebecca finds a letter, it changes everything, and she might just have the life and future she wants. A heartwarming story of new beginnings, putting the past behind you, and family and love. The chemistry between the two leads is hot, and with a good supporting cast of characters, this is a perfect end-of-summer read.
