In 2016, Hannah Miller got a scholarship to Prescott Academy in New York for her senior year. The school is full of the rich and famous of the Upper East Side. Madison DuPont is the Queen Bee of the school. You do not want to cross her, or your life will be miserable. She is also Hannah’s advisor when she gets there. They are friends, sort of, and she does her best to stay out of her way. In 2026, an event is held, hosted by Madison, and Hannah and a lot of her former classmates are there. Someone has a plan to kill Madison, as a lot of people do not like her. The plan is put in motion, and Madison is dead. The police are called, and the interviews start, and Hannah is the prime suspect due to a column she wrote not too long ago. She decides she will investigate to try and find the killer. It’s a dual-story novel, we follow the class throughout 2016-2017, and the rest of the novel is set throughout the night of the murder. There are lots of twists and turns, and we learn that any number of people had an issue with Madison. It’s a great thriller you will not want to put down.
