Ten years ago, Scarlett Everhart got her first big acting role in The Lost Letter, starring opposite Ryder Perry. The movie was filmed in Seafolly, South Carolina. At first, the two didn’t get along very well, but they fell in love. When Ryder learned his mother was sick, he started drinking too much, and it drove Scarlett away. Now, ten years later, it’s time to put out a special edition of the movie, with new footage and interviews. The cast is to reunite in Seafolly and help raise money for the town after a deadly hurricane hit. Scarlett, who is now a major movie star, does not want to go and bring up the heartache from back then, but ends up going anyway. She reunites with Ryder, who is now a mature older man, nothing like what he was ten years ago. When they talk and work through the pain from before, they get close again, and it seems like time has healed old wounds, and they may have a second chance at love, until Scarlett reveals a shocking secret which could end them again. A well-written rom-com, which looks at love a second time around, With an great cast of characters, you will root for these two to be together again. A perfect summer beach read.
