The year is 1968, in Cape Kennedy, Florida, where Vivian Mitchell, who is married to Joe, who is an astronaut, is on a mission to the moon. She gets word that NASA has lost contact with the ship, and fears something bad has happened. Vivian also tries to save her husband’s reputation; reports are that he is the reason that things went wrong in space. We get flashback scenes of when the two met, fell in love, and got married. The novel goes back and forth in the chapters, and Vivian soon gets weird signs from Joe, like he is trying to reach out to her, and she wonders if their love transcends time and space. This is the love story of the summer. We follow along with Vivian as she works hard to clear the name of her husband, and the love of her life. Author Chanel Cleeton has done it again.
