In a distant time, Formula Zero racing, where ships race against each other, on various tracks in the universe, finds Madeline Clark strugglling to win races. On top of that, she has to deal with her former best friend, Julian Caspert, who is on a much better team winning races, and still trying to win Madeline’s heart. She always seems to have some sort of trouble with her ships in most races, and even has a malfunction with her breathing in another race. She soon figures out that someone is out to get her, with her contract expiring, the team might be sold, and she’s being used as a scapegoat. Maddie is not going to go down without a fight, and with Julian by her side, she turns the tables on those who tried to ruin her. She also finally lets down the walls between her and Julian, and have hot sex, and they work on a relationship, and a rivalry on the track. A fun rom-com full of racing, betrayals, and putting the past behind and moving forward. A perfect summer beach read.
