Scott Treder is married and has a son, Lyle, who is 7, has a job, as does his wife. He has the perfect happy family. Then it all changes. Driving to work on a Monday morning, his car vanishes, and when he wakes up it’s Tuesday morning. He has no idea where hw was. Then it happens again, this time he’s gone for two days. It happens again, and he’s gone for four days. It happens at 7:52 in the morning, and his wife and son watch this time. Each time he vanishes, it’s double the time of the last one. His son Lyle, is determined to find a cure for what Scott is going through. He has aged every time Scott returns, until Scott outlives him. Over the centuries, when Scott returns, he sees how the earth and time have changed, and not for the better. He is lucky that, due to technological advances, he has a special person on his travels in the later years until he finally finds out how and why this has happened to him. Fans of science fiction and time travel will enjoy this one a lot. The book starts off fast and never lets up. At its core, it’s about the relationship and love between a father and a son, who will do anything to try and save his dad. This one is not to be missed.
