Dahlia lives in San Francisco, is married, and is now getting a divorce. With nothing keeping her in the city, she decides to head to Valenica Spain, to see her extended family. She rents a small place and starts exploring the city, where she runs into Liam, who is from California. He owns The Valencia Expat Bar, and she gets a job with him as a marketing expert. She also has a history with him that she hopes he doesn’t remember. As the days go by, an attraction develops between the two, and they start to let their guards down, and soon fall for each other. Now, all Dahlia has to do is let down her guard and let herself be loved and enjoy this new life she is creating. This is a fun romantic comedy that makes great use of the location that the book is set in. With quirky supporting characters and lots of food to eat (this book will make you hungry), this is the perfect summer beach read.
