Katie Caruso is a ghostwriter for author Meredith Bradford, whom she has never met, but all her novels have been bestsellers. The latest novel Katie is working on for Meredith has a deadline, and Katie is behind. She is given a co-writer to help her finish the book. It turns out to be Tyler McNally, her late brother, Mikey’s best friend, and someone she was involved with, who vanished after the funeral. After a tough reunion, they agree to work together on the book, a trope-filled romance, set in the Hamptons. As they write, they experience the tropes themselves, and are invited to live in Meredith’s Hamptons house to finish the book. They end up falling for each other, and talking about the past, only Tyler leaves out a big secret. He also learns a shocking secret about Meredith, and now he has to figure out if he can truly commit to Katie. This is a heartwarming story about loss, grief, and love. The chemistry between Katie and Tyler is off the charts, and watching the two of them reconnect will put a smile on your face. A perfect summer beach read.
