The sequel to the first book finds Haze and Fox back killing bad men who hurt women. It’s been a while since they have killed; Haze has had a baby boy who is now four months. Getting back into the swing of things is not easy now. There’s a lot more to attend to, and Fox is having issues doing the job. Haze is having to deal with school issues and Fox is in therapy, making for some funny moments. When they start getting postcards from someone who knows what they do, they team up with their friend, Jenny, who is a cop, and look to bring down the Corporation (a group that kidnapped Fox in the first book) once and for all. This is a good follow-up to the first novel. You root for Fox and Haze to get through the drama and somehow become a normal family, a family that kills part-time. Hopefully, there are more books coming in the series.
