Nadia Davis lives in San Antonio, she’s married to Brian, has two young daughters, and has the perfect life. She does all the mother things, dropping the kids at school, doing PTA, shopping at Costco, and she has a big secret, she’s a hired assassin. She kills bad people and makes it look easy. She has a secret room in her house and a mysterious handler. She has just finished killing a rich man and awaits her next job. When she learns that she has been put on ‘mommy duty,’ she demands a bigger hit. When she figures out who it is she is in for a shock, it’s her husband. Nadia wonders what he has done to have a hit on him, she starts following him, and soon learns that there are others who have been hired to kill him, and soon learns he has a shocking secret as well, and so she has to figure out what to do with this latest assignment. This is a unique, fun novel. It starts off fast and never lets up. A perfect summer beach read. Here’s hoping for more adventures with Nadia Davis.
