The U.S. has developed a new laser that could change the future of any wars or battles in its favor. Except for one problem, while it’s being tested out, the crew is killed by two traitors, and the plane is hijacked, with no trace of where it is. The only thing that has been traced leads to the Artic. Kurt Austin and Joe Zavata are sent to Norway, to a NUMA ship and race to the Arctic, where they find the Chinese making a runway out of ice. A battle takes place, and the NUMA ship is damaged but survives its way back to Norway. They soon find Russians, Chinese, and an old nemesis thought to be dead. They find the plane, but the laser has been removed. It leads to Kurt and Joe going to Taiwan and getting into the battle of all battles to stop WWIII from breaking out. This is another great action-thriller featuring the awesome duo of Kurt and Joe. The action is intense and page-turning. Fans of the NUMA series will enjoy this one.
