Years ago in high school, Harlow Drake and Lainey Piper were local teen investigators and solved a murder of one of their teachers, and a grading scandal. Now today, Harlow hosts a true crime TV show, and Lainey works in forensics. With her business suffering, Lainey reaches out to Harlow and asks if she can consult on the show. Harlow hires her to work on a show looking into the 1927 disappearance of a young woman named Marguerite. There is tension between the two women, and they will need to work together when a murder takes place on the set. Now they have to race against the clock to find the killer and live to tell about it. This is a fun murder mystery novel that will keep you reading along. A perfect spring novel.
