The second book in the series is a year later than the events of the last book. Misty/Joe (or they), who solved Lady’s death, is now a 10% owner at Lady’s Bar, and the club is doing good business. On this night, a private investigator needs to talk to her, and they make an appointment for the next morning. When she arrives at the club to meet him, she finds him stabbed, having fallen down the stands. He gives her keys and tells her to find Jeremy, and she is in danger. Misty puts on her detective hat once again, much to the anger of Miles, his boyfriend, who doesn’t think she/he should do this. It leads her around the London area, where she finds clues, people who can help with the investigation, and finally, what exactly is going on. She also has dangerous men following her, and she soon devises a plan to out what it is that is going on, in a stunning climax. This is a great follow-up to the first novel. Misty/Joe (they) is a great character, and this is a fun mystery. I am looking forward to many more adventures with these characters.
