In New York City, Adalyn Whitcock, who is the daughter of Aphrodite, and is a demi-god, has her own wedding planning business, and is having a tough time after something bad happened at her last wedding event. It led to negative social media posts about her business. Phoenix ‘Nix’ Cross is her neighbor and is a drummer in a rock band, The Stone Talons, and plays at all hours of the night. When she confronts him about it, there is a spark between them. When his sister is swindled by an event planner, Adalyn steps in to save the wedding. She also has an agreement to fake date Nix, for the publicity for both of their careers. They spend a lot of time together, and soon fall for each other, and start having hot sex. When things get out of control for her, she ends the agreement and is miserable. So who does she turn to, her mother, the God Of Love, for advice. This is a fun novel, watching the two fall in love. There are some funny moments with family get-togethers with her God family. The supporting characters also add a lot to the story. Fans of rom-coms will love this one.
