The book is in stores on Tuesday, Feb. 10th from Berkley. Click on the link to buy a copy. https://amzn.to/4jLxG21

The novel is set in New York City and follows Siriwathi ‘Siri’ Perera, who is a taxi driver. On this night, she picks up a man headed to JFK International Airport. By the time she gets there, she finds the man is dead in her back seat, stabbed to death. She has no explanation for how this could have happened, and is arrested and thrown in jail. She calls Amaya Fernando, a public defender she had driven earlier that night, and hit it off with her. She had her card, and Amaya came to her as her lawyer. Together they decide to investigate everything they can find on the case and who would have wanted the man, named James, dead. They soon figure out who did it and why, with a shocking reveal that rocks Siri’s life. This is the debut novel from author Yosha Gunasekera, and it’s great. These two strong females are a force and a pleasure to read. I hope there will be more adventures with these two.
