This should be a great time for Pearl Davis she got her dream job as a Museum Curator in Portland, and she’s working on her first big exhibit. Her estranged mother, Sally, died weeks ago, and her lawyer has just given her a letter from her mother, which she confesses to murdering someone. She soon finds more letters and bodies buried at her mother’s house. On top of that, she is suspended from her job for alleged theft. As she investigates her mother, her past and present, she notices that someone has been tracking her. We soon learn the shocking secrets of her mother and father, and nothing is as it seems. Someone wants revenge and will stop at nothing to get it. This is a twisty, psychological thriller, where nothing is as it seems, and you don’t see the shocking twists coming. Fans of these kinds of novels will enjoy this one.
