Amber and Hannah grew up as somewhat close sisters, and the year was 1996 and Amber became friends with the bad boy, Nathan, who lived next door. They had a love/hate relationship that had some violence to it. The year is 2020, and in the same house she grew up in, her parents are murdered by a masked man and an accomplice, one who was Nathan, who was killed that same night. With the pandemic in full swing, Amber and her firefighter husband, Ben, and their two kids move into the house. Amber starts seeing weird things and having weird feelings, as does Ben. They cannot figure out what is going on, and we soon learn shocking truths about Hannah and Ben, it leads to shocking reveals you don’t see coming. This is an intense psychological thriller that starts off a bit slow but really picks up midway, with the twists you don’t see coming. This is one not to be missed.
