Nicole Sprayer is married to Gabe, lives in a beautiful house, and has a successful podcast about fertility. The only downside to her life is that she can’t have kids. They have a woman who will carry their baby if the embryo is fertilized and transferred successfully. Then her world falls apart when she finds out Gabe is having an affair. She kicks him out, and her world is shattered. Then she finds out that Valerie, the woman who will carry her baby, is pregnant with her baby. Feeling depressed, Nicole goes and sees Logan, a man she used to work with and might have had something with if not for Gabe. They hang out and start to fall for each other, although she’s not being honest with Logan about certain things. Nicole soon has to figure out what it is she wants, and when she confesses all to Logan, things become more complicated. Just when they seem to work things out, she learns things about Logan that change everything. This is part rom-com and all heart. Falling Niole’s journey to wanting a baby and her heartache over Gabe gets you emotionally involved in her life. Then seeing her with Logan is heartwarming, tender and a joy to follow.
