Ten years ago, while on a family vacation, Emory Oakes fell in love with Tate Wilder, whose family owned the ranch next to where they were staying. It was a magical three weeks until fate drove them apart. She has never gotten over it. Today, she is a freelance journalist in Toronto when word comes that her father has been arrested for financial fraud with his business. Emory decides to get away, and finds herself back where she was happy ten years ago. She stays the night at a B&B and plans to leave the next morning, not wanting to run into Tate. Fate intervenes, and her car needs service, and it will have to be another day before it is ready. She runs into Tate’s father, who lets her stay at Tate’s house he is out of town, only he came back early. Emory ends up stuck in town after a car accident, gets a job working at the local paper and soon starts to reconnect with Tate. Can magic strike them again and put the hurt of what happened ten years ago behind them? This is a heartwarming rom-com of two people trying to put the emotional baggage they each have behind them and work towards a future. It’s filled with the magic of the Christmas season.
