Jay Manning, aka Skwerl, and Aziz, known as Big Cheese, team up after Jay was unfairly let go by the CIA. They are taking jobs for a shadow network, led by Sheepdog, identity unknown. They are hired to repossess an airplane and fly it to Marseille, but things go haywire, and an old foe wants revenge against Skwerl. They end up flying to Pennsylvania and then off to meet an old friend, Just Shane, in Colorado. Along the way, they also pick up an Amish man, Ephraim, who was outcasted and Sinead, the girlfriend of Skwerl. They discover plates on the plane that are worth over $60 million and plan to take them and sell them until Cheese’s pregnant wife is kidnapped and held in exchange for the plane and plates. Plans are made for a switch, a murder, a double-cross and a shocking reveal. This novel is awesome. It’s an action-adventure comedy with a great supporting cast of characters. I hope there will be a lot more novels with these people.
