Dylan, Priya, Isabel and Beck were all best friends and when Beck died it almost broke them. She has gone out with a cop named Peter Miles for a short time and then broke up with him. He wouldn’t let it end and was stalking her and then she was killed and it looked like Peter was the murderer. He was investigated and never charged. The three women decide Peter must die and plan his death and murder him. Thinking they have gotten away with it, things start to happen to the three of them. Then a mysterious woman, who meets Dylan at the bar she works at, turns out to be a police detective, thinks the three girls are guilty but doesn’t have the proof to arrest them. Then it turns out she has her own secret past and someone ends up in prison. A solid thriller about friendship, guilt and revenge. A good end-of-summer novel.
