Nick Mason was in prison, until he was offered a deal, which is just another prison sentence. He works for a mysterious man, who has him killing bad guys, and threatens his ex-wife and daughter, to make him do the jobs. He’s sent to Jakarta, to take out a bad guy named Hashim Bays, who has killed a lot of innocent people over the years. The problem is he’s heavily guarded and he will only have one chance to get him. After several attempts, he’s had no luck, and fears there’s a mole tipping Bays off, especially after he’s caught and meets the man. He manages to escape, with the help of Interpol agent Martin Sauvage, who is also after him, and learns about Nick. It all leads to a dramatic showdown, and sets up the next chapter in the series. This is a great action-adventure novel, that keeps you reading along. For fans of authors like Brad Thor, Jack Carr, Mark Greaney and Gregg Hurwitz, this series will be perfect for you. Author Steve Hamilton is the real deal.
