Phoebe and Hailey grew up together like sisters and are best friends. They’re also a part of grifter families, whose moms plan con jobs, and they along with the rest of their family, swindle people out of money. Now, young women, they’re tired of this life and decide to leave for Connecticut and start a new life. They have found an apartment and jobs at the country club. Rocky, is Hailey’s brother and finds out about their secret plan and joins them for the move. There’s always been something between Phoebe and Rocky, who are secretly in love with each other, but have never admitted their feelings or acted on it. As they try to live their new lives, the family slowly finds out about their new plans, some of them start to show up, problems arise, Phoebe and Rocky finally act on their feelings (in some hot scenes), but can the girls truly start over? This is a really fun, well-written book, that ends on a cliffhanger, and I cannot wait for the next book. This is one you will not want to put down. Another perfect book for the beach and your 4th of July holiday.
