Ben is a 13-year-old boy living in Louisiana, with his horrible aunt, and his younger brother, who he tries to take care of, and is also a troublemaker. He steals and is in trouble a lot. He is sentenced to go to a reform wilderness camp during the summer in Montana. When he gets there, he decides he will just bide his time until it’s over, becomes friendly with the other kids that are there and starts to notice strange things. He does some research, and soon figures out something supernatural is happening here, and with a few of the other kids, they decide to make a run for it, and are soon hunted down. Their only recourse is to go back to the camp and make a stand against the evil that is around them. This is a perfect 4th of July novel to read. It’s an eerie, scary, psychological thriller, perfectly written by the brothers Query. This is one you will not want to put down.
