It’s a Saturday night in the summer, and Eve Dallas and Roarke have already had sex, are on the couch, with their cute cat, watching a vid, drinking wine, and eating popcorn, waiting for round two of sex, when her comm rings. A teenage girl is dead at a club, Nadine was there, and Eve is on the way. The girl was jabbed with a needle full of drugs, and has died. The next night, at an outdoor concert, it happens again. Then again, but this time the girl survives, and is able to give Eve a little info on the suspect. As Eve and Peabody chase down all leads, find their man, it leads to another classic Eve Dallas showdown. This is another great book in the series (number 58), with the best married couple in all books, Eve and Roarke, and a great supporting cast of characters, fans of the series will enjoy this one.
