The year is 2094, and Carter Cho is a quantum mechanics tech, working on the Hawke Particle Accelerator, when things go wrong. He’s zapped by a green energy during an explosion, and now lives in a time loop. Every Thursday, his life resets, and he has no idea how to fix it. Then he meets Mariana, and manages to draw her into the time loop as well. They work together, along with an AI named David, to try and figure out how to stop the time looping to stop. Along the way they say the hell with it, spend money, eat great food, take a trip to London, and start to fall for each other, but soon things start going haywire, and Carter is out of the loop, and doesn’t remember her. She’s left on her own and makes a startling discovery, this is a time machine, and in order to save today, she has to take a dangerous trip to the past, without screwing up the future. Another well-written, fun novel, with two characters you root for, a cute cat named Maggie, lots of food that will make you hungry, and time travel. Fans of Mike Chen will enjoy this one.
