Priscilla was a teacher until she wrote a best-selling children’s book based on her dog, The Adventures Of Bailey The Bloodhound, and then wrote a second book. She has quit her job to write full-time, and is working on her third book. When Bailey discovers the body of Whitney, a former mean girl from high school, who Priscilla had a fight with the night before, she becomes a suspect. She decides to investigate a little, with the help of Bailey, much to the chagrin of the hunky police chief, and possible new love interest for Priscilla. Then another body is found, and someone else is injured, and then Priscilla finds her life in danger, and it might take Bailey to save her. Fans of small town murder mysteries will love this one. It has fun, quirky characters, a well-written story, and Bailey the loveable basset hound. Hopefully there will be more books with these characters.
