It’s Christmastime, and time for the annual Tara Foundation Christmas party, when Andy gets a call from Pete to come outside. He’s told to bring out Derek Moore, who fosters two dogs, and that he’s under arrest. Turns out Derek’s real name is Bobby, he used to be part of a gang in Camden, and he’s under arrest for murder, and now Andy has a client again. He was put in witness protection after turning against his former gang. And now the police believe his cover was blown in town, and he killed a former gang member, and evidence is solid. Andy gets the gang together, and they start investigating, and then we go to trial, and it’s not looking good for Derek/Bobby. With Andy on the case, you know you have a solid chance of winning, and it will take everything he and the team can come up with to get him off. I love this series, and this is another good one. They’re well-written (with plenty of LOL moments), and fun to read, and I especially love the supporting characters, especially Marcus, who is one of the best characters in any book. Fans will be happy with this one.
