It’s Christmastime and for three women their holiday is not going good. Sunny, who is married with two step-children, the oldest who doesn’t like her, and horrible ex-wife to deal with. Arianna, who is divorced, and has a horrible ex-husband she has to deal with. And Molly, who works ate the Post Office customer service desk, and has to deal with lots of horrible people, especially during the holiday season. So they all decide to have a re-do every month. Each one will have a theme, and presents. As the new year begins, their lives begin to change. Molly meets a new man, and falls in love, Airanna meets her new, hot neighbor, and they fall in love, and Sunny finds herself pregnant, but still not having much luck with her step-daughter. The friendships between the three women grow stronger through good and bad times (and there is one major bad time). This is a excellent, character-driven novel, with strong women, and a heart-warming story. Beware you will need Kleenex by the end of the book. One of the best holiday novels this year.

You can pick up The Twelve Months Of Christmas in stores on Tuesday, October 3rd from MIRA.
