The Thursday murder club is back in action, after a friend of Elizabeth’s husband is found with a bullet in his head. Elizabeth, Joyce, Ibrahim, and Ron, live in a retirement community, and love nothing better than solving murders. This time it involves heroin, $100,000 worth has gone missing, and they soon track down the man who had the shipment, and the man who lost seems to have lost it. They go on surveillance, get their lives threaten, organize a lunch for the potential guilty people, and end up solving the case before the police do. This is another great novel in the series. If you haven’t read any of them, I suggest you pick this one up and start. Each is written as a standalone novel, and they are some much fun to read. Author Richard Osman does a fantastic job writing these.
You can pick up The Last Devil To Die in stores on Tuesday, September 19th from Viking.
