Book Review: ‘The Love Plot: A Novel’ By Samantha Young

Star Meadows is working a character at a birthday party when she meets Rafe Whitman, who rubs her the wrong way right away. He has an attitude she can do without. When he makes her an offer too good to be true, their relationship changes. He wants to pay her an obscene amount of money for six months to be his fake girlfriend, to get his family off his back about dating. Well, we know how these things go, and soon they fall for each other. But his family gets in the way, and what they have between them, may not be enough, and it might cost them everything. Another fun summer rom-com, that has two interesting characters, you follow along with, and root for. Perfect for Labor Day weekend.
