Isla Jane went to college, got an MBA, and all she could find was a crap job, that doesn’t pay much, and she can’t afford to pay all her bills, and her roommates kick her out of the apartment they share. She goes to her brother’s place, he’s in London for work, so she figures she can stay there for a while, and not have to tell him or her parents. When she gets there, she sees Cade, her brother’s best friend, and a man who is like a brother to her, wrapped in a towel, which drops, and Isla is impressed with what she sees. Thus starts a new relationship for them. In exchange for not telling her brother about what’s going on with her, she agrees to be his fake girlfriend for work parties. Well we know how that goes, and soon they fall for each other, have hot sex, and then get torn apart but stupid things. Can they overcome them and be together? This is a great rom-com, with two interesting characters you root for. It’s well-written, and you want to keep reading along. A perfect end of summer novel.

You can pick up Rent To Own in stores on Tuesday, August 15th from Crooked Lane.
