Garrett Kohl brings traitor back to the US Government, and hope now that his debt is paid, and he can get back to his ranch, and his adopted son Asadi, who he rescued from Afghanistan. He’s also ready to marry Lacey, and have children with her. He is soon approached by a worked at the nuclear plant near where he lives, and is told the man is being blackmailed by Iran, who is holding his father hostage. He’s been working with them, but it’s getting too out of control, and asks for Garrett’s help. He goes to Kim, his handler, and they devise a plan. But what they thought, and what happens is different. Plans are to assissinate the U.S. secretary of defense, when he visits, and to steal a train containing five nukes. Garrett is on the case of the nukes, and it turns into one long, and exciting chase, and shootout. Garrett also has learned that Asadi’s brother might still be alive, and he might go back to look for him, which would be dangerous. He is all about family, and protecting the area where he lives, at any cost. This is the third book in the series, and it’s as good or better than the first. It’s an action-adventure thriller, as good as any others out there. Fans of Gray Man, Jack Ryan Jr. Orphan X, Jason Bourne, will love this series.
