Samantha Gale is 28, a chef, who just quit her job, and has dyslexia, and is on her way to Martha’s Vineyard to spend the summer with her family. For the next six weeks, she will be watching her 14-year-old half-brother Tyler. Bennett Reynolds has a summer job at the library, and loves to read books. They bump into each other on the boat, and then again at the library. They hit it off, and decide to team up to help him find the father he has never known. Then end up falling for each other, even if it might only be for the summer. Together they encourage each other, Sam to write the cookbook she always wanted to, and Ben to find the father he never knew. But shocking news about his father could end up tearing them apart. This is a fun rom-com, with two characters that you root for, and fun supporting characters. A perfect beach read, with some hot love scenes.
You can pick up Summer Reading in stores on Tuesday, May 16th from Berkley.
