Book Review: ‘Seven Exes: A Novel’ By Lucy Vine

As Esther nears 30 she starts to wonder if she’ll ever find that special one. She’s dated, and had a lot of relationships, but nothing has worked out. After reading a magazine article about having seven relationships, she decides to go back and meet up with seven of her past relationships to see if one of them could have been the one. What follows is a look back at each of the relationships, what happened to them, and her new meet-ups with these people. It’s a hoot to watch her meet up with these seven, and to for her to figure out things, and that she needs to work on herself, and not look at the past, until she figures out the one for her might be right in front of her. Along with her two bestf riends, and roommates, and an overflowing toilet, this is a really well-written, character driven novel. Fans of rom-coms will like this one.
