Book Review: ‘A Christmas House Wedding: A Novel’ By Victoria James

Olivia Harris and her young daughter moved back to her small town of Silver Springs after her divorce. She moved in with her Grandmother Rose and is building a new life. She’s opening a dance studio, has reconected with her sister and is doting on her daughter. Then Rose announces she getting married and the pressure is on for Olivia to have a date. Scott is the best friend of her brother-in-law and has stepped in to help her with renovations on her dance studio. Olivia is not interested in dating but an attraction with Scott takes place and he is a really nice guy, who has secrets from his past. Olivia is still dealing with the emotional abuse from her ex-husband and they slowly start to let their guards down and be together. But the past rears its ugly head and Olivia is not sure if she can commit to Scott, expecially when her ex shows up wanting her back. A well-written story with characters you root for and want to be together. It’s a feel good book, that gets you emotionally invested.
