Dr. Raleigh Foster is an agent for an undercover US agency and she lost her partner not too long ago and blames herself. She also blames herself for the loss of Phillip a few years ago and her father years ago. She is assisgned to work with Adam, who walked out years ago after Phillip’s death (they were best friends) and he also was in love with Raleigh and she with him. He comes back to the fold, even though he doesn’t really want to. There’s a mole and they need to find out who it is. It means going back to where it happened three years ago to infiltrate Scimitar, a terrorist group that has stolen Adam’s plans for evironmental technology. They have to pose as a couple and the sexual tension between the two is off the charts, as is a tension between the two. Raleigh is keeping secrets from him and as the mission goes on, they must resolve their feelings and manage to stay alive. When the shocking secrets come out, it could end the love they feel for each other and cost them their lives. This is a really well-written novel, with two great lead characters that you follow along and root for. Throw in some hot sexy scenes and you got a winner of a novel.
