Book Review: ‘The Perfect Neighborhood: A Novel’ By Liz Alterman

Small town live in Oak Hill, NJ is anything but quiet. Yes everyone knows everyone and everyone seems to know each others business. And they all gossip about each other. But in the privacy of their homes a lot is going on. Actress Allison Langley has left her rock star husband, Chris who is a hottie, in the middle of the night. All the neighbors are talking about it until five year old Billy Barnes goes missing walking home from school. The babysitter was late getting to the house because she’s having an affair with Chris and then another child goes missing. The investigations are on going and we learn all the secrets of this small town and who took the kids. A fun thriller, with some well-timed twists and turns to keep the readers engaged throughout. Nothing like small town America.
