Book Review: ‘The Christie Affair: A Novel’ By Nina de Gramont

Agatha Christie disappeared for 11 days and no one ever knew what happened to her. Now author Nina de Gramont has written a fascinating book looking at the time she vanished from the point of view of Nan O’Dea, the woman that Agatha’s husband Archie left her for. Agatha knew he was having an affair but figured she could win him back. He told her he wanted a divorce. The next day Agatha was gone, her car left by a body of water. We learn the backstory of Nan and what lead her to Archie. This is a great historical fiction look at these two women and what might have happened back then.
